She enjoyed riding her bike, going to school, jumping rope, playing with her friends, reading and helping in her dad's office. She also enjoyed writing in her journal. She began writing in her journal on her 13th Birthday, which is when she received it, she then continued to write it while she was hiding in "the Annex" and towards the end she intended for it to be published. She enjoyed writing it and wanted to be a journalist when she grew up.
Anne FrankShe enjoyed writing in her journal which she named Kitty. (Dear Kitty, ...) There is a book that was introduced to publishers which was all of her journal entries. The book is called the diary of Anne Frank. In her diary, Anne Frank addresses the problem of food while her family is in hiding. Sometimes they went for periods of time--food cycles, she called them--when all they had to eat was one particular dish or vegetable every day, including endive, spinach, kohlrabi, cucumbers, salsify, tomatoes, and sauerkraut.
Oh, dude, Anne Frank ate like any regular person during World War II, you know, like canned food, potatoes, bread, and stuff. She probably drank water, like, I mean, what else would you drink back then? Maybe some tea if she was feeling fancy. But seriously, can you imagine trying to Netflix and chill in a hidden annex with limited snacks? Rough times, man.
Anne Frank referred to these periods as "hunger weeks" in her diary. During these times, the limited availability of food forced her family to rely on one particular dish or vegetable for sustenance.
After she was discovered, Anne was sent to a concentration camp. There, she died of typhus

In Westerbork transit camp, Anne Frank and her family were mostly provided with basic rations such as bread, potatoes, and soup. The food was often inadequate and poor quality due to the difficult conditions in the camp.
She have regular meals with her family. Food was sneak into their place by their Dutch sponsor.
