There is evidence all over the place on this one. It is claimed in "The Lady Hope Story," published in 1915, a few years after Darwin's death, that he had "reverted to Christianity on his sickbed.

Many years after this, it began to be reported that Darwin's children refuted this (even though, according to the Lady Hope Story, none of the children were present when Darwin reclaimed Christianity).

Darwin himself stated many times during his life that he believed in God, although he refuted The Bible as a historical book.

At the end of the day, we may not know what Darwin thought or committed to before his life due to revisionist history. All we can really do is look at the Bible and each one decide for themselves the Truth of Scripture.
