Possibly. As you probably are aware, FO&K was a very large hardware seller in St. Paul MN. Over the long life of the company, they sold a variety of guns, including their own brand (Kirk Gun Co). Prior to 1968, firearms were available for purchase by mail in the US- even Sears sold Colt handguns by mail. If you have a specific Colt firearm you are researching, for a fee you can get a letter from Colt giving the date of manufacture, and who it was shipped to from Colt.
