Did David Crosby and Cass Elliott have a romantic relationship?

From what I have read, while in his his early 20's, David Crosby developed an interest in Folk Music and joined a group called Les Baxter's Balladeers. While traveling with this group he met Cass Elliot, , who was a member of a group called The Big Three. Cass introduced him to Graham Nash of the British group The Hollies. After the breakup of the Byrds, David joined with Nash and Stephen Stills to form Crosby, Stills & Nash.

David Crosby did have a big infatuation with Joni Mitchell, however.
