Him and Bella made 'love' in breaking dawn and then Bella becomes pregnet when she tells edward in the bathroom he doesn't move for about 10 minutes shocked Alice rings edward but he doesn't answer so Bella goes on to the floor and gets the phone out of his pocket she talks to carlisle and tells him she thinks she is pregnet then edward snaps out of it and asks Bella for the phone he wants Bella to have an abortion but Bella can fil a bond between the baby and her
