Yes and most continue to do so. This was a man who spent the entirety of his life attempting to maximize and industrialize the murder of the Jewish people. Think about how strongly Americans revile Osama bin Laden who "only" killed 0.002% of the American population and has been unsuccessful at destroying the remainder and compare that to a man who orchestrated the death of at least 30% (and some say up to 50%) of the Jewish population. The same way that the Armenians will never forgive or forget Ismail Enver, the Jews will never forget or forgive Hitler.
