Hitler did NOT invade Germany. Reason ; he was the Fuhrer (Leader) of Germany. Germany was referred to as the Third Reich at the time. Hitler was elected to be Chancellor in 1933. The president, Hindenberg, retired, and Hitler took over the presidency. So he was both Reich's Chancellor and President at the same time. He then had himself described as 'der Fuhrer'. ( the Leader). As Adolf Schickelgruber he was born in Austria. Austria is a German speaking country to this day. With increasing political power he absorbed Austria into the Third Reich, and Austria ceased to exist, until after WW(II). On the Baltic Coast of Poland(Prussia), Silesia (Poland/Czech Republic), and Sudentenland, there are many ethnic Germans. Part of his invasion plans was to bring these ethnic Germans into the Third Reich. (The policy of LebensRaum ; Living Space ( for Germans)). Any non-German people in these regions were just cruelly pushed aside, moved, killed, etc.,
