There appears to be no reference of Isaiah having sinned against God in the KJV of The Bible. We must remember that no man in without sin. Perhaps in his younger days there was possibly some minor infringement of some law.

No church can forgive sin. No vicar, priest or whoever can forgive sin unless that sin was committed against that person. When one sins against God then only He can forgive.
Sin is sin as soon as that sin has been commited. As soon as one thinks of an impure thought, that person has sinned. There is not any time period before that sin is officially a sin. Ultimately, all sin is against God and since God is omnicient, he knows when all sin has been commited.

It means to pray to God, speak to God and tell Him what you have done as an act of sin... like what I do.. is that I tell God what sin I have comitted and ask for forgiveness. It is the first act of repenting.
