When he cried "God why have you foresaken me?" I'm pretty sure he had misunderstood what was going to happen, that his father wasgoing to save him. Did he die for our sins, and we're all lucky now to be born after his existence, only needed to acceot him into our heart and repent for even the most unspeakable crimes? That is why Christianty is so popular. Do as you please, and ask for forgiveness. Heaven awaits. I think Jesus would be upset at what this religion has become. I'm not sure that praying for death is the same as suicide, but I bet he sure thought about it while he was up there being tortured.
We would do the same thing if another claimed to be of divine origen. Let's not kid ourselves. We would call them crazy or assasinate them. Understand the times. He got in trouble because he loudly proclaimed instead of quietly taught.
