Answer:
"...He showed them His hands and feet; and while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, He asked them, 'Do you have anything here to eat?' They gave Him a piece of broiled fish, and He took it and ate it in their presence." (Luke 24:40-43 NIV)
Luke is the only gospel that has this account, although the 'Long Ending' of Mark*could allow this meal to have taken place, although unreported. The narrative of John's Gospel appears to rule this meal out. The Gospel of Matthew does not allow this meal to take place, as Jesus first and only appearance, after he appeared to the women near the tomb, was to the disciples in a mountain in Galilee.
* Mark's Gospel originally ended at verse 16:8, with the young man telling the women that Jesus was risen and the fled in terror, telling no one - this clearly makes the meal at Emmaeus impossible. T
he 'Long Ending' (verses 16:9-20) was added much later to provide resurrection appearances and more or less harmonise with the other gospels. Verse 16:12 says that Jesus appeared to "two of them" as they walked, but this could be either the two women of Matthew or the two men of Luke.
