Pious believers will say that Jesus was incapable of doing anything wrong. Yet we find examples throughout the gospels, including:

  • In Mark chapter 7, he called Gentiles 'dogs' and only agreed to help a Gentile woman when she humbly accepted that description.Today, we would call this racist and insensitive. There have been various attempts to pass this off as a 'test' of the woman's faith, although elsewhere he has not asked faith of those he helped.
  • He cursed the fig tree for not bearing fruit out of season.
  • He overturned the tables of the money-changers, even though they were lawful, sanctioned by the priests and provided an important service in support of Temple sacrifices.
  • Obliquely, he authorised the disciples (and the future Church) to commit murder: (Luke 19:27) "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." This verse forms part of the parable of the minas, in which Jesus describes the king as ordering the murder of any person who would not accept him as king. John P. Meier (A Marginal Jew: Rethinking the Historical Jesus, Volume V, page 353) says that the verse should be read allegorically as a definitive judgement on all who opposed Jesus' reign as Kurios ('Lord'). An unfortunate outcome that some would say Jesus could have foreseen occurred in the 13th century, when Humbert de Romanis used this verse to justify killing Muslims for refusing free entry of Christian missionaries into Palestine.

Is there anything morally wrong and why is it wrong?

yes, there is. Some would argue that the taking of life (killing someone) is morally wrong. A counter-argument might be if in self-defence, the taking of a life might be morally right, since it preserves another's life. However, this does not contradict the point that the taking of a life is still morally wrong. Indeed, the taking of a life can be both morally right and morally wrong.

How did Jesus spend most of his nights?

The way Jesus spent his nights is unknown. The bible does not say anything about Jesus' nights but there is one time when a person namedNicodemus came to Jesus by night and asked him, "what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" It is a probability that Jesus spent his nights sleeping.
