There are many leaders who will lead you down the wrong path. If you read the four Gospels of Jesus Christ: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John you will learn that Jesus called many of the Scribes and Pharisees "sons of perdition." The "sons of perdition" exist today in most Christian churches.
There are many of our leaders in government and law who are also "son's of perdition." When Jesus returns he will separate all of them from the elect and cast them into hell along with all the others who are of the Devil. (njbsam)
Jesus is to the leaders of the church, as the head of the church.
The scribes and Pharisees were the "spiritual" leaders of the day. But they were far from the truth. Again and again Jesus tried to get them to see they were "lost sinnners" like any other person. But they were proud and eventually plotted to have Jesus killed because Jesus was a threat to them as leaders.
The religious leaders once asked Jesus by what power or authority he performed signs and miracles?
In the Bible, they accused Jesus of blasphemy.
Jesus referred to the religious leaders of his time as a "brood of vipers."
Jesus told the man that his sins were forgiven. The religious leaders believed that Jesus did not have the right to forgive people of their sins. :)
Jesus is one of the leaders of the Christianity Religion.
They tried to trick Jesus on a sabath.
Jesus Christ
They were the Religious leaders of the church
some of the christian leaders are God, Jesus, and the pastors. But mostly Jesus and God. A lot of people say that they cant be leaders because they are not living now but they are. If it wasnt for jesus dying on the cross then there would be no Christian and Christianity has the word Christ in it and that is Jesus, and God is the one who puts it all together he sent jesus here to start a new religion well and die for our sins and stuff. bit the over all is that Jesus started a new religion. So, sorry if i wrote to much didnt want to give you a brief lesson but i just felt like writing it.
Jesus and John the Baptist had a close relationship as cousins and spiritual leaders. John baptized Jesus and recognized him as the Messiah, paving the way for Jesus' ministry. They shared a mutual respect and understanding of their roles in spreading the message of God.
