Grace could mean many things, in the New Testament the word is charis (χάÏις) meaning kindness, favor or goodwill. John wrote this of Jesus in his gospel: John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." David wrote about him in the Psalm 45:2 "Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever."
Jesus himself was not recorded to have used the word grace, but his words and his actions displayed grace. 2Corinthians 8:9 "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich."
