Jhon (or JOHN) Dickinson did not actually sighn (or SIGN) the constitution. He was ill on the day and so sent someone to sign for him. I guess he didn't want to miss out on signing another important document, having been the only one to not sign the Delcatation of Independence.

George Mason did not sign the Constitution because he opposed the document. John Dickinson was important in the Constitution. He was a Contentional Congressman, a Representative of Delaware, refused to sign the Declaration of Independence, and wrote many, many essays.
James Madison was our President and did sign the Constitution, but did not sighn the Declaration of Independence, nor attend. that helped alot.:-)
