The first names of John Lennon's two sons are Sean and Julian. John Lennon was a musician best known for his time with the Beatles.
He was 17 when she was just starting to spend more time with him.
Yes, he was often bitterly sarcastic, and he did not really spend much time with his son Julian.
Julian Lennon is John Lennon's son from his first wife, Cynthia. He was born in 1962. He has some affiliation with some later Beatles songs. The song Hey Jude was written by Paul on his way to visit Cynthia and Julian to help him get over his parents' divorce. Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds, contrary to the barbaric belief that it stands for LSD, was written by John about a painting that Julian had done at school which he replied, when John asked what it was, 'Lucy in the sky with diamonds.' The song Good Night was also written by John (but sung by Ringo) for Julian as a lullaby to help him get to sleep.
"Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted" is a quote by John Lennon.
Borrowed Time - John Lennon song - was created on 1984-03-09.
They didn't hide their earlier lives as celebrities; they simply never talked about it at home, and kept no musical memorabilia around their apartment. Sean only learned of his father's past when he watched Yellow Submarine at his babysitter's house. Sean came home asking about the Beatles, and why Lennon stopped being one. Lennon explained that he gave it up, so he could be a full-time dad.
When he got to be with Yoko.
It was John Lennon, from the set of the movie "How I Won The War" which was being filmed at the time. He was wearing the military uniform, helmet, and glasses of the character he played in the movie.
There are several accounts of this, in biographies of both men. The short version is that Elton John made John Lennon promise that if Lennon's 1974 single "Whatever Gets You Thru The Night" (one of two Lennon recordings he sang on that year) became a #1 chart hit, Lennon would perform at one of John's concerts. Lennon had little faith in the song, and made the promise thinking he wouldn't have to keep it. The record hit Number One a few weeks later, and John held Lennon to his promise. Lennon guest-starred at John's Thanksgiving Day concert, performing three songs with him and his band: "Whatever Gets You Thru The Night", "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" (which John had covered earlier in the year, with Lennon's blessings and collaboration), and a loose performance of "I Saw Her Standing There", an early Beatles song that none of them had actually sung onstage before. (McCartney was the lead vocalist, when the Beatles had performed it.) Nobody knew it at the time, but this turned out to be Lennon's last public performance. Both May Pang (Lennon and Yoko Ono's personal assistant, who lived with Lennon when he and Ono were separated) and Yoko Ono were also at the show; Ono in the audience, Pang backstage. Ono came backstage afterwards, and it was the first time they'd seen each other in months. Someone took a photo, and they treasured it later. They rekindled their marriage, and Lennon moved back in, with their son Sean Lennon born months later. Elton John became Sean's godfather.
