If you are talking about Joseph, the son of Jacob, then yes, Joseph did follow God, indeed.
Saint Joseph was the foster father of Jesus. God was his father.
Do you mean, "How do you pluralize the phrase 'follow God's word' ? 1) Follow the words of God, or 2) Follow God's words.
They follow the christian god, but they do not belive Jesus Christ is the son of God.
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ("Mormons") are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and follow the gospel He restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. We do not worship Joseph Smith, but revere him as a prophet and seer who revealed many principles that clarified mysteries long held by the rest of the Christian world. If we "follow" Joseph Smith it is because he taught us important truths and we believe those truths. The statement "you cannot serve God and man" is actually misstated. It should be rendered as you "cannot serve God and mammon." This is the idea that those who prefer riches cannot properly serve God because their priorities are incorrect. Serving God and man is not mutually exclusive so long as the service being rendered is selfless and in accordance with the Gospel. The Lord's own highest purpose is to serve mankind in every possible respect.
In the story Joseph, what was God's message?
Joseph was given a vision from God of who Jesus is, our savior, when Mary was still carrying Christ in her womb. Only God and Joseph know all of Joseph's feelings.
Interestingly, God never revealed Himself to Joseph, even though he was God's instrument in Egypt. Note that HE is called the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Also note in Exodus that God identifies HIMSELF as YHVH, a Name HE had not used before....as HE also said. While it is apparent that Joseph believed in God and acted on dream interpretation, Joseph did not have a name for God except the one he had been taught...The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Since Jacob was his dad, it would have been simply the household worship of this God that daddy had identified. So since Joseph did not have personal interaction with God as his father and grandfather and greatgrandfather did, God is not identified as Joseph's God.
Rahab is not related to god, but to Joseph.
In the bible Joseph was not mad at god ever for getting Mary laid.
People choose to follow God so that they can spend eternity with Him.
God. and ONLY God.
Joseph. Sebastian has written: 'God as feminine'
