It wasn't Judas' father that carried the cross, Luke 23:26 "When they led Him away, they seized a man, Simon of Cyrene, coming in from the country, and placed on him the cross to carry behind Jesus."
John 6:71 states "Now He meant Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was going to betray Him."
Though they are both named Simon, they are different Simons. The disciple Peter was also named Simon, as well as one of Jesus' half-brothers.
Jesus. Because he was on the cross with to terrorists beside him.
Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus (Mark 15:21)
Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss, and the consequence was that Jesus died on the cross for our sins a. and the sins of the world. But as Judas repented and returned the 30 pieces of silver coins, the priests refused to take it. Judas then hanged himself.
a guard ordered him to carry the cross but i am not sure.
Despite the terrible betrayal that was involved in Judas Iscariot's act, it was the will of God and Jesus that He would go to the cross for our sins. Just as Jesus did not have to hang on the cross (He could have saved Himself) He did not have befriend Judas, but He did because it would ultimately lead to Him paying the penalty for our sins.
Father Millet Cross was created in 1926.

It was most likely Judas Iscariot. Or a Roman soldier.
The weight of the cross that Jesus carried, also known as the "crossbeam," is estimated to have been around 75-125 pounds. The entire cross would have been heavier due to the vertical beam already in place at the crucifixion site.
Jesus was betrayed by Judas. As arranged by Judas and the Jewish leaders, the Romans arrested him. Pontius Pilate condemned him to death (reluctantly, according to Scripture). Roman soldiers led him to the cross and nailed him to it. He was taken down and laid in the tomb by (according to Scripture) Joseph of Arimathea.
