No, Laura never attended college. Indeed, she did not quite complete high school, although her last formal teacher, Vidoq (Ven) Owen assured her she had the equivalent of a high school diploma when she married.

As I understood it; Mr Owen assured her she would indeed have been able to graduate that spring, but he held her back to graduate in the fall with her classmates whom were not so advanced. She has been known to quote "I never even graduated high school".
