Yes, although he never built it he did think of the idea. He left out a little piece of the armoured car because if the prints got into the wrong hands they would not know how how to build it or work it.
it was called honda
Leonardo da Vinci studied many different fields. He promised the Duke of Milan that he would make him armoured cars.
Leonardo di vinci
Da Vinci never designed one. The car was not invented until around 250 years after he died. However he did design (but never built) an armoured shell with wheels, which was man-powered. he thought up the idea in 1487 but it was not created for another 250 years (aprox).
The armoured car has armour.
There are many drawings by Leonardo Da Vinci illustrating his inventions. These include at least two for different flying machines, an armored car, a giant crossbow and an eight barreled machine gun.
An armoured car is an automobile equipped with armour to protect passengers.
it is help full because now we can fly around the world with out using a car
Leonardo da vinci made many futuristic inventions of his time like an Armored Car (early tank), Flying Machine, Ornithopter Flying Machine (early helicopter), Parachute, Artillery and an Eight Barreled Machine Gun. These are more of the famous inventions of Leonardo's many creations.

Leonardo was trying to build a flying machine. He wanted to be able to fly. Please, note that Leonardo is not credited for having invented the helicopter. He designed a pair of blades (as one of his many flying machine designs) that were similar to the helicopter blades that are used nowadays. That is the connection - Helicopters today use the same blades that Leonardo envisioned in the Renaissance. As genius as he was, he did not invent the helicopter he drew a picture and said it could fly. If this were the case a four year old child living in the 1800s could have attached wheels to a match box and be credited with the invention of the car
Leanardo davinci invented it on drawing in 1678.
