Edward Norton co-starred with Brad Pitt in "Fight Club" (1999) and appeared in Marlon Brando's final movie, "The Score" (2001).
Perhaps look back to Brando's earlier acting days, and build a project around that, rather than later films. His early days are powerful, and he was undoubtedly a superb actor. My personal favourite scene from a Brando film is in The Godfather. A scene where he is talking to his son, Brando has a cat in his arms. The cat is calm and happy, and its behaviour throughout the scene, to my mind, is a measure of Brando's calm and mesmeric performance. Check it out.
