Following the death of King Henry VIII, his widow Katherine Parr went on to marry the brother of Jane Seymour, Sir Thomas Seymour. She had one daughter by him, Lady Mary Seymour, although Katherine did not survive the birth. What happened to Mary is one of the great mysteries of history. It is assumed she died in her infancy as there is little or no reference to her.
