Did Michael Jackson miss being black when he was white?

Michael never thought of himself as white. He always thought of himself as a proud black man. He even calls himself one in several of his songs including "They Don't Care About Us" where he says "Don't you black or white me" and "Black man, black male throw your brother in jail".
