100% YES! he did use violence but only after trying peaceful protesting for 50 without working. He dicided that he would turn to violence but wouldn't hurt anyone. He did things like blow up shopping centeres and his follows did too. These terrorist actions led to him being jailed for 27 years, some think he deserved it others don't
