Not personally, but he was the one that planned the attack. Osama bin Laden had at group of terrorists and they attacked the Twin Towers by crashing into it with planes. At the same time he had others that crashed a plane into the Pentagon and a fourth plane that was supposed to crash into the White House.

∙ 13y agoOn February 26, 1993, a truck bomb was detonated in the parking garage under the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. Five or six people were killed and many suffered from smoke inhalation.
The terrorists had hoped that the building would collapse and fall against the South Tower, bringing it down, too. However, there was no important structural damage.
On September 11, 2001, the Twin Towers were destroyed when two hijacked airliners were crashed into them by terrorists.

∙ 14y agoYes they were suicidal bombers on both planes that struck the twin towers, although the term "kami-kazi" would be even more accurate than the term suicide bomber (given that a plane is not exactly the same thing as a bomb).
