Well in the book in all the places all the monsters are trying to kill percy jackson because they blame him for steeling the LIGHTNING BOLT that belong's to zeus

Luke had made the flying shoes that he gave Percy, but Percy then gave them to Grover because he didn't have a magical thing with him. The shoes made Grover speed to get the Underworld and Percy and Annabeth follow him. The anticlimax occured at the end of the story, when Percy gave Zeus back his Lightning Bolt, not that he took it in the first place, Hades did, wanting his helm back.

Because she only wanted to get the lightning bolt from Percy which everyone thought he stole. She would kill to get the lightning bolt. I think she works for Hades , and Ms. Dodds is was a Furie. They are terrifying looking creatures with horrible features. Their breath burns and poisonous blood drips from their eyes. Their heads are wreathed in snakes.
