Few people are in close enough contact on a continuing basis with a president of the USA to be able to vouch for what they do in private, but Barack has not been observed smoking in public in some time. About the best information we have is anecdotal comments from a few people with frequent contact with him such as his press secretary who, in 2010, said he "had not seen any evidence of smoking in probably nine months."
Rumor is that President Obama has quite smoking.

Attempt to do all that he is able to. I do not believe he will be able to get any of his policies to work.
YES HE WILL HES THE BEST THING THATS HAS HAPPENED TO THE STATE SINCE BILL CLINTON.
Most of us agree that smoking not a good habit; but by all accounts, President Obama finally was able to kick it in 2011, after trying and failing many times. That said, I am not sure what smoking has to do with being president. Sad to say, other presidents have been smokers, as have senators and congresspeople. If you are asking about smoking other substances, such as marijuana, he has admitted (and so have other politicians of his generation) to using it when he was young. But there is no evidence he uses it now.
Yes
The president was finally able to kick the smoking habit, after many tries. In February 2011, he told reporters he had stopped, and his wife Michelle has said that since then, he remains a non-smoker.
