Did Queensland have a previous name?

Queensland was always the state's name from the time it separated from NSW in 1859. Prior to that, it was originally known as the Moreton Bay Colony, and Brisbane, but of course, this extended far beyond Moreton Bay. It was just all part of New South Wales.
