While being a early teen, ringo got into drums. While being treated for TB he would play drums, and would refuse to play at all unless he got the drums, and would practise drums on the countertops.

Ringo Starr did not play bass guitar. Stuart Sutcliffe did not play drums. Sutcliffe was long gone (and had died) before Starr ever joined the Beatles.
I don't know a Ringo Sterr, but I do know a Ringo Starr, a Ringo Stirr, a Ringo Storr, a Ringo Sturr, and sometimes a Ringo Styrr. Ringo Starr mainly played the drums. The others just sing back up.
