It is actually found on LewRockwell.org that FDR purposely put sanctions and embargo on Japan so japan would attack the U.S. He could then blame Japan and go to WW2, so he could be elected 3rd term. How does the War help? People dont want to fix themselves, they want to fix up others- War helps politicians say *we`ll beat that other country up!* and get the citizens riled up to fight.
