She never said that. The quote was, "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska."
Which is true. And she meant that Alaska's close proximity to two foreign nations, Russia and Canada, gave her some experience in foreign affairs. Which is true, but more of a stretch.
However, Tina Fey of Saturday Night Live lampooned that interview with the well known catch phrase of, "I can see Russia from my house!"
I sure can!
-Sarah Palin
To be pedantic, no, she can see Siberia, Russia ends at the Urals a very long way away.
She said "You can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska" when asked by Charlie Gibson a question regarding the proximity of Russia to Alaska.
The statement "I can see Russia from my house" was actually made by comedian Tina Fey during a Saturday Night Live skit in which she was impersonating Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin never actually said this in real life.
Only if you can see through a mountain range. There's one to the west of Wasilla.
According to "I can see Russia from my house" Sarah Palin, the US State closest to Russia is Alaska.
The statement, "I can see Russia from my house' was widely attributed to Sarah Palin, but that was not an accurate quotation. She never said it, but made a different generalized comment.See "I can see Russia from my house."
Well just go watch the show "Sarah Palin Alaska" and see. She shoots targets but i am not sure about wolves.
Oprah is afraid to have Sarah Palin on her show in fears that her audience, mainly women, will see that McCain/Palin have more to offer this country than Obama/Biden.

Trig Palin is travelling around with Todd and Sarah Palin. Trig Palin is a frequent guest at Sarah Palin rallies. I found this on the Huffington Post. Here is the link: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/21/trig-palin-photos-see-how_n_136582.html?page=3&show_comment_id=17089783#comment_17089783
Populism is not in decline. See the Tea Party movement, and Sarah Palin.
Sarah Palin, who claimed to be an expert on Russia because she could almost see Siberia if she stood on the roof of her house.
