This is a matter of opinion. In warriors book 6, Firestar said that he neaver thought that Tigerstar would die like that and that he didn't think anyone deserved to die that way. However, many peoples still believe that Tigerstar deserved that death because of the fact that he was a traitor and because of the many other cats that died to fulfill his selfish ambition.

Tigerstar's death was a result of his own actions and decisions. He had committed numerous acts of betrayal and violence, which led to his demise at the paws of Scourge. Many believe that Tigerstar's death was a fitting end for his character, given his ruthless nature and lack of compassion.
