the sun flowers

An artist chooses his/her subjects for various reasons which are seldom known.
He painted the sunflowers to make the rooms lighter so Paul Gauguin would like them. Argument? Never heard of.
yes she liked sun flowers
Most flowers like all the sun they can get. The flowers I would recommend for you would be: sunflowers, lilies, daisies, and cattails. Not any thin or fragile type of flowers.
If you mean Vincent van Gogh (van Goth is a modern American painter), he painted seven paintings of Sunflowers, all on different dates, but all in 1889.

Vincent van Gogh sought to express emotion in his landscape paintings. Much is known about the artist's intentions due to the large collection of letters written to his brother Theo. The sun illuminated landscapes he saw in France changed his style, and he writes to his brother '...I use color more arbitrarily so as to express myself forcibly...'.
