No. He did not write mystery plays, which were religious plays performed at town fairs and the like, and which were one of the sources of English drama. Everyman is a mystery play.

Nor did he write murder mysteries, along the lines of Agatha Christie. Although there are plenty of plays with murders in them, the audience always knows right away whodunit.
