Did William of Normandy win or loose the war?

William won, of course. That is why he is known as William the conqueror! Why? Well, there are many reasons, here are a few;

1. he was well rested and had plenty of energy

2. the wind had changed at the right time as Harald and his army had just fought and probably lost many men

3. Many of Harald archers where still on there way back from the north

4. He had many tricks up his sleeve
