He had eight children with his wife who also came from a musical family, and he was a composer AND a music teacher. Middle- and upper class children in that day and age habitually got music lessons. So it is safe to assume that he taught his kids music. None of them became famous musicians, though. The same by the way goes for Mozart's children.
