Venus and Mercury come between the Sun and the Earth but are so far away that they do not block much of the light. From the surface of the Earth only the Moon is capable of creating a total eclipse of the Sun.

Other planets have some moons that would block the sun id you could observe from the planet's "surface".

No other planet has "blocked" out the sun like the moon does during an eclipse. They are all too far away. There are only two planets that are inside our orbit, thus are capable of even being between us and the sun. You can occasionally see Mercury or Venus through a properly equipped telescope make a transit past the sun, however.

Do any of the major planets ever get further away from the sun than Pluto does?

Yes. Sometimes Neptune is father away from the sun than Pluto. Pluto's orbit crosses Neptune's. None of the other seven planets ever get farther away from the sun that Pluto.

Do other planets block are view of the moon when you orbit the sun?

No because the Moon is closer than all the planets. The Moon can block our view of planets (very occasionally). Mercury and Venus can move in front of the Sun but they do not block our view because they are too small and too far away.

What planets if any will appear to pass directly in front of the Sun from your earth based perspective which planets if any will never transit the sun?

Mercury and Venus are the only planets that can transit the Sun, from where I am.

Why is the sun bigger than the other planets?

the sun is bigger than any other planets because millions of years ago meteorites smashed together to make the sun and to any other planets that did not happen

Is Pluto closer to the sun?

Pluto is farther from the sun than any of the 8 major planets. There are other dwarf planets farther from the sun than Pluto though.

What planets are most like your sun and how?

No planets will ever be like Sun. 1. Sun is star. 2. No matter how hot a planet is, they'll never be as hot.

Where are the outer planets located in relationship to the sun?

They follow orbital paths which, like those of the inner planets, are centered on the sun, but the outer planets, without exception, are farther from the sun than any of the inner planets is.

Does the sun have any natural satellites?

Yes, all of the planets, dwarf planets, asteroids, and comets are natural satellites of the sun.

Can planetary allignment block us from the sun?

No. The only planets that can get between Earth and the Sun are Mercury and Venus, and they're too small and too far away to block more than a minuscule fraction of the Sun's light.

Does the sun or any star have an axis as the planets do?

yes

In what solar system do the planets travel around the sun?

In any solar system; that's what planets do.

Is there a planet or celestial body block by the sun?

No, at least, not permanently. Of course, at any one moment the Sun will block the light of any object behind it.
