Prior to the Les Miserables production tour traveling to Shanghai, China, Colm did step in for a few performances of LM in San Francisco to warm up in the role of Valjean as this was the same tour group that was headed for Shanghai. He wasn't actually listed in the programs (unless there was a last minute print insert). Colm then traveled with the tour group to open the first production of LM in China at the Shanghai Grand Theatre.
