Coronation Street used to be a TV series instead of a TV soap Opera, however it has never been a live programme. On the 50th anniversary of Coronation Street starting, they did have an hour long live episode where they had the tram crash. This only happened on that one episode though, it has never been a live show.
Steve MacDonald owns the Rovers in Coronation Street. It used to be Liz MacDonald, Steve's mother but now she is just a bar maid for him!!!!!!!! Are you sure ! x
It is on the Cold Feet soundtrack so I guess it must have been on the show. Also it was on Coronation Street when Richard Hillman drove Gail, David and Sarah Louise into the river.

Apparently not. It was proposed at one point that they would appear on Coronation Street as themselves, stranded when their car broke down. The harmonium played by Ena Sharples was supposedly used on the recording of "We Can Work It Out".
The music played during the opening of "Coronation Street," sponsored by Harveys, is a distinctive theme composed by Eric Spear. The iconic tune has been a hallmark of the show since its debut in 1960, featuring a memorable melody that evokes a sense of nostalgia and community. Over the years, various arrangements have been used, but the essence of Spear's original composition remains central to the show's identity.
They are not showing the programme because of the emotional attacks in Cumbria where a man killed 12 people. The killer used a gun so Coronation Street didn't want to show gunshots on the show just after this incident.
"While The Cosby Show was set in Flatbush, Brooklyn and filmed live in Brooklyn, the actual building used for the exterior shots is located at 10 Leroy Street in Greenwich Village."

Not surprisingly - the Coronation Crown.
My guess is that it's animatronic like the one used in 'Pillars of the Earth'.
