No, Geraldine Edwards is not a member of The Order of the Golden Dawn. Geraldine Edwards great grandfather was a member of the Order, and although certain people expressed an interest in meeting Edwards, billing themselves as members of the Order in the 1970's, it was generally understood that the Order as her great grandfather had known it had in fact disbanded. Several groups of people billed themselves as members of the Ordrer of the Golden Dawn but they were generally regarded as offshoots of the original Order.

In addition to that, Geraldine Edwards is a known Femininist, although she does use her married name and has since her 2006 marriage to her husband, Anthony Flemming-Mueller. That is one of her few concessions to conventionality. The Order of the Golden Dawn often referred to their female accoytes as concubines, a term Geraldine Flemming-Mueller did not approve of, nor did she approve of women taking a back-seat to men in general, and the Order did view women as attachments to men. If a woman ascended in the Order she was deemed a Priestess. Geraldine made a public comment that the title Priestess being conferred upon a woman within the Order meant that the woman had properly subjugated her natural instincts and dignity, and was now not threat to the male members in any way. She was there to serve. The title Priestess was confered as a reward for doing so. She also added that some of these women learned to regret their decision when they were asked out of the fold without a second thought.

Geraldine Flemming-Mueller has made comment on many occasions that she is not a joiner of any dogmatic or spiritual disicpline or philosophy, but said she definitely has a leaning toward Gnostism. She has respect for any philosophy that improves a person's life and is not judgmental about a person's belief system, no matter how unsual it may be. Somebody once said she was a Wiccan. She is not, although she has had may Wiccan friends. She is not attached to any Judeo/Christian religion, including Christianity. bit understands and respects that belief systems are important and necessary for people. She has her own belief system, which is that you should do your best while your upon the earth. Your actions, good or bad, leave their impression after you are gone like footprints in the sand.

But no, she is not a member of The Order of the Golden Dawn, past of present, and I can make this statement with authority. Geraline was a good friend of my late sister, Devon, for twenty years, until my sister's death in 2002, may she RIP.

Was geraldine Edwards Robert palmers girlfriend and the woman who dated Eric clapton rick springfield roger daltry and others the woman almost famous was written about?

Yes she was. Geraldine Edwards met Cameron Crowe in San Diego, California, in 1975 backstage at the San Diego Sports Arena. At the time Cameron Crowe was interested in being a Sports Writer and was a fan of the San Diego Gulls. Geraldine suggested that he widen his range and interview all types of people, including musicians. He took her advice and found that he actually preferred interviewing musicians. It was written in some articles that Pam DeBarres and Bebe Buell were partial inspirations for the Penny Lane character. That is not correct. Penny Lane was eighteen years old and a San Diegan who was a groupie who hung around the "World Famous San Diego Sports Arena." That was the history of Geraldine Edwards, not DeBarres and Buell. In addition to that, Cameron Crowe cited Geraldine's name as the inspiration for Penny Lane in an 2000 interview.

Did Kate Hudson who played Penny Lane in Almost Famous ever meet Geraldine Edwards who Almost Famous was written about?

Yes, the two did meet in San Diego, California. Edwards had agreed to meet with Hudson at her request. Hudson wanted additional background for her character and also later said in interviews that she was curious about Edwards as well. Hudson later told more than one reporter that Geraldine Edwards was a very kind and intelligent person.
