I am not sure what guy you are talking about, but Kennedy was killed by a sniper at long range and he certainly did not get close to the limousine after he fired his gun.

The third shot struck President Kennedy in the brain and half of his face blew off. Jackie tried to jump out the back of the limo to retrieve the face but was stopped by secret service. He was then rushed to Parkland Hospital where he stayed alive for hours and then was pronounced dead.
