Hatshepsut ruled in the New Kingdom, 18th dynasty. Her reign was between 1473BC- 1458 BC. She was not the first female ruler of Ancient Egypt. And I would like to point out that she was not a queen, she was a pharaoh.
Hatshepsut Ruled The New Kingdoms
Hatshepsut ruled as the fifth pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt, from around 1479 to 1458 BCE. She initially served as regent for her stepson, Thutmose III, before declaring herself pharaoh. Hatshepsut is known for her prosperous reign, extensive building projects, and successful trade expeditions, particularly to the Land of Punt.
