Yes the Greek people had a large pantheon of deities.
It's still a religion: Hellenistic.
just because people in Egypt believe in them doesn't mean people from other countries don't. like me, when i wrote this i was 12, in ENGLAND. believe wat you want to, doesn't matter on the country. either one god, multiple gods, or again multiple gods but one behind everything.

The ancient Greeks did not really have a name for their religion as they believed it to be the only truth, and therefore did not need a name. After the spread of Christianity, the ancient religion came to be known as paganism.
