Itachi uchiha was one of the most powerful members of the uchiha clan. He was very strong since his childhood he graduated from the academy at the age of 7 and became chunin at the age of 10 and later joined the ANBU black cops. Itachi always used to poke on sasuke's forehead it was later revealed that he use to transfer his power to sasuke by poking. When he was a youngster he was given a mission to spy on the actions of uchiha clan he later discovered that the uchiha clan was planning to attack the village and take control of it. The hokage and the elders of the village thought that it could sow the seeds of war as the other villages could attack their village taking the advantage that the people are fighting each other so they planned to wipe out the uchiha clan. Itachi was ordered to wipe out his own clan and leave the village as a criminal. Itachi accepted it just for the sake of his village. But there was one thing he could not do that was to kill his innocent brother he later requested the hokage not to harm his brother. Then he left the village and later joined the akatsuki just to collect information about their plans.He wished to die by sasuke's hands and till that day he tried to survive inspite being very ill. When itachi and sasuke fought itachi died by his own will and when he was about to die he transferred all of his powers to sasuke by poking on his head.
