Kids were aloud to go the colosseum since it was free
The Colosseum is located in the center of Rome. It is almost impossible to miss if you go there.
Rome is/was filled with temples, the Vatican, fountains, villas, the colosseum, churches, monuments, and the catacombs. I have been there 3 times and still want to go back.
Oh yes, yes, yes. The Colosseum is one of Rome's main tourist attractions. Just recently they have even opened up the "basement" of the Colosseum and people can see the ancient holding pens, rooms, elevators, and all the things related to the activities that took place underground.
yes
You couldn't go by boat to Rome from Pompeii. Rome is north of Pompeii and inland.
Unless they were nobles children didn't go to school. People couldn't read or write in Ancient Rome.

Yes because they of course needed a break. Also, of course in the Ancient Rome times, a vacation was wonderful for the patricians.
Yes and no, depending on if they have birth or not
Yes, the Colosseum stands near the center of Rome and is one of the city's most popular tourist attractions. The Colosseum is open every day of the year, excluding Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Tours (in English, Spanish and Italian) last approximately 45 minutes. There is an entrance fee. If you are visiting multiple Roman sites, it may be more convenient (and less expensive) to purchase the Rome Archaeological Pass.
In the temples.
