Not going to get too deep. But the major skills that Martin Luther King Jr had is the freedom of speech, not scared by the governmentand organizing major events at the right time.

Everybody know that Martin Luther king made a speech and when he made that speech someone shot him because they did not wanna see presidents doing the right thing's.
In my opinion, they are similar because they are fighting or fought peacefully for freedom for people. Martin Luther King was fighting for equality, right to vote and education, etc while the Dalai Lama is fighting for freedom of religion, equality for the Tibetans in Tibet under the Chinese government.
