Mother Teresa joined the Teaching Sisters of Loreto

when she was in her teens, and served with them until she was in her thirties, at which point, she petitioned the Bishop to allow her to form a new Religious Order called the Missionaries of Charity. So, Mother Teresa's family as an adult was first of all the Sisters of Loreto,

and later on the Missionaries of Charity.
