Best Answer

Over 200 neolithic people were buried in the Aubrey holes--men,women and children. These were cremation burials.

A bronze age man contemporary with the building of the circle was shot by at least 4 arrows and buried at the entrance to the monument.

Did the people who build Stonehenge bury their ancestors their?

Not necessarily, research has shown that the people buried there had authority. Like Shamans (they are from the Paleolithic period - healers who can communicate with the spirits). However I cannot say that their ancestors were buried there - as it depends on their authority.
