He was also involved in the Alexandrian war, in which the Alexandrians, who did not want a ruler imposed upon them by Rome, especially the unpopular Cleopatra, revolted. While he was in Egypt, Caesar also consulted with the Egyptian priests on restructuring the Roman calendar.

Cleopatra VII was the true last Pharoah of Egypt. She was also the last of the Greek Ptolemies to rule Egypt. She married and had children with two very important Roman people- Julius Caeser and Marc Antony! She didn't want to be treated like dirt, as Caesarion wanted to bring her to rome to be pulled along the streets. She asked for a sanke to be placed in a basket of figs, as Caesarion did not want her to die. She let the snake bite her, ending her life. But she most likely killed her self because she went mad after her two husbands died and did not want to dragged around the streets in rome and ended her life with a burning sensation flowing through her body.
