No the creator Genndy Tartakovsky, never ended the story. However, it has been rumored for a long time that he is working on a ending for the series. Whether this is true has yet to be announced.

No! Jack never did kill Aku. The last episode made was in 2004 with Jack fighting Aku in human form in a desert like greek seting. At the end of that show, Jack went to take the finale strike that would have killed Aku. Needles to say Aku dodged his sword and flew away say he would be back again...again! The show was not canceled but put on hold. In 2009 their was talk of a movie in the makes but im not sure...
