The changes between the civil war was that we had better weapons. They also had boats. They also people that were under the age of 18. People that wanted to get in the civil war who were under age put the # 18 in the shoe and when asked if over 18 they said yes. The war was over 4 years.
the women did not, and children under the age of 16, and old people, they thought that women and children under th age of 16 was going to be weak, and they thought that as well about the old people.
People have been known to lie about their age, however, I would suggest that you should not be in such a hurry to go to war. Many people go to war and return home with post traumatic stress disorder; war is very stressful. You can wait until you are 18. It seems that there is always a war being fought somewhere.

it was really sad for some people and some people even lost there family!! it was very noisy for some people, and some people had to get away from the war and go somewhere were the war wasn't!
the yougest age to be sent to war was 12 years old most kids died at the age of 14 years old.
